Shiva - Mahadev !!
A breath taking view of lord Shiva "The Mahadev". A worlds largest shiva statue in Murudeshwara temple, Mangalore city which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian sea.
The best lines about "The Mahadev" from one of my favourite book "The Immortals of Meluha".
" God of Gods. Destroyer of Evil. Passionate lover. Fierce warrior. Consummate dancer. Charismatic leader. All-powerful, yet incorruptible. A quick wit, accompanied by an equally quick and fearsome temper. Over the centuries, no foreigner who came to our land - conqueror, merchant, scholar, ruler, traveller - believed that such a great man could possibly have existed in reality. They assumed that he must have been a mythucal God. "

A Belief...

In India enormous number of belief exists. This picture defines one such belief.
Recently, visited a famous temple situated in a traditional city of Tamil Nadu. Inside the temple I saw people arranging bricks one above the other. I asked two worshipers for the reason.
A monotheist: There exists a belief in this temple that with full faith on this almighty present here, if we arrange the bricks or stones in that fashion, we will be blessed with a shelter of our own to dwell in.
A theist: For past three to four months renovation and repair works were in progress. The worker's children come here and play with the stones and broken bricks. They leave all those tiny constructions undisturbed. Now that has turned as a belief and people started framing their own belief statements.I would rather describe it as another superstitious belief. My belief is that the word superstition doesn't exist.
Technically, I love this pic for its sharpness and focus on bricks. A simple composition which was clicked on a good light and with sharp focus.

Was that a magic of roses !!!
Roses never failed from its duty - to Spread love, Bloom, show and create love in all forms. It is simply a "Symbol of Love".
I realized the importance of roses; cannot be left ignored and cannot be 'Replaced' or 'Underrated' soon after freezing my little model's blushing moment with beautiful roses.

The Truths...

A Pleasant truth: Mother Earth holds an eternal beauty within - Kiss of water drops on a petal of a flower !!!
A Bitter truth: A plant dropped its flower and paying its last respect to the mother earth, and those sprinkled drops on petals are not just water but tears of a plant.
